It happens in a flash, but creates memories that can last a lifetime. Its value is priceless, but only when shared with others. It brightens the lives of all who receive it, while enriching those who give it away. Your smile.
Do you feel awkward or self-conscious about your smile. A healthy, attractive smile is an important facet of life, with an impact on health, self-esteem, and relationships - both personal and professional.
Many adults want to change their smiles. Some want to want to fix dental conditions such as missing teeth that have developed over time or correct problems they've had since childhood such as discolored, gapped or crooked teeth.
Free Seminar Invitation
You're invited to an important seminar that will help you feel better about your smile. The Cosmetic and Implant Dental Center is offering a free patient seminar about the benefits of implant and cosmetic dentistry on Thursday evening, March 9, at Cincinnati's Jewish Hospital Kenwood.
Dr. Jack Hahn, a pioneer in implant technology, will be explaining a new concept of stabilizing lower dentures that allows patients to eat the foods they like, comfortably. This new procedure called "Clip Tight, Fit Right", allows the dentists to fit new implants more quickly, more easily and more affordably.
Dr. Hahn is one of the nation's leading experts in Dental Implant techniques. Over the past 30 years, Dr. Hahn has placed over 28,000 implants and has recently designed a new implant system that is currently used worldwide.
With the "Clip Tight, Fit Right" program, implants replace slipping or ill-fitting dentures, and patients can eat what they ordinarily wouldn't have even tried, like corn on the cob, or fresh apples.
Who needs implants? Many Boomers do. As we move into our mid-years, we lose bone mass, often in our jaws, and that causes problems with our teeth. In the past, lost teeth meant dentures, which are often uncomfortable and don't allow us to eat all the foods we like and which are good for us; like foods high in fiber. "Physicians know that high fiber foods decrease your risk for gastrointestinal problems, so implants are not only attractive cosmetically, but they can also improve your overall health. And the new treatments are more cost effective," according to Dr. Hahn.
Dental Problems-Cosmetic Solutions
Dr. Jack Benmayor and Dr. Greg Sherman of CID will discuss whitening and re-shaping teeth and closing spaces with laminates and veneers at the seminar.
Many of the common dental problems have solutions in cosmetic dentistry, explained Dr. Jack Benmayor.
"Your cosmetic dentist will talk with you about your needs, what changes you'd like to consider, and what you'd like the outcome to be," Dr. Greg Sherman said.
Recently Cosmetic and Implant Dental Center invested in the newest Digital Imaging, technology that "morphs" a digital picture of a patient's face and mouth. That technology allows them to generate a computerized image of how the patient would look after the procedure.
Next Step
Statistics show that only one half of all Americans are satisfied with their smile. Many don't know or aren't aware of the increased choices today's technology offers them.
You've decided at last to take action. Your next step should be to attend the free informational seminar, or to set up an initial appointment with the
dentists to discuss your options, needs and concerns.
The last step? Look forward to your new smile!
